Bad Credit Rating Mobile Phones
Those with a poor credit rating will often have trouble getting hold of a mobile phone from the big suppliers. In my experience T-Mobile are a bit more lenient, so it is always worth giving them a go. You can get to them from my site from one of the trusted suppliers I recommend. Try E2save first, I tend to find they carry the best deals.
Failing that, if you want to be really sure of getting a mobile phone despite your bad credit rating, then definitely go to The Utility Warehouse. Rather than perform a credit check they ask for £10 payment in advance, and ask for proof of address. For many this is a great way of getting a monthly line rental mobile phone. The tariffs are excellent if you don’t use the phone very much, but for most people I think work out the same as the high street tariffs, so you don’t really lose out.
If I could recommend you take some of their other services as well. I am a customer for phone, gas and electric and I saved around £20 per month when I switched – this paid a lot towards my mobile phone bill. Check them out here –
For people with less than perfect credit ratings there is always the option of pay as you go. Disadvantage is that you have to buy a phone upfront and often the call costs will be fairly high.
